gnome-session-fallback software package provides GNOME Session Manager - GNOME Flashback (transitional package), you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gnome-session-fallback
gnome-session-fallback is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gnome-session-fallback package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gnome-session-fallback *
You will get with gnome-session-fallback package name, version, architecture and description in a table
